HVAC & R
Heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, and refrigeration systems often are referred to as HVAC & R systems. Our service technicians install, maintain, and repair these systems. Heating, air-conditioning, and refrigeration systems consist of many mechanical, electrical, and electronic components, such as motors, compressors, pumps, fans, ducts, pipes, thermostats, and switches. In central forced air heating systems a furnace heats air, which is then, distributed via a system of metal or fiberglass ducts. Our technicians can maintain, diagnose, and correct problems throughout the entire system.

Installation & Maintenance
You can be sure that we will follow blueprints or other specifications to install oil, gas, electric, solid-fuel, motors, compressors, condensing units, evaporators, piping and multiple-fuel heating systems and air-conditioning systems. We adjust system controls to recommended settings and test the performance of the systems we service. To ensure that your system will operate safely and at peak efficiency we use combustion test equipment, such as carbon dioxide testers, carbon monoxide testers, combustion analyzers, and oxygen testers.

Seasonal
Our service contracts can provide for regular maintenance of the heating and cooling systems and help to reduce the seasonal fluctuations. Both in summer and winter, most systems often require maintenance and need replacement parts. During the summer, when heating systems are not being used, our heating equipment technicians do maintenance work, such as replacing filters, ducts, and other parts of your system that may accumulate dust and impurities during the operating season. During the winter, our air-conditioning mechanics inspect the systems and do required maintenance, such as overhauling compressors.

Savings and Safety
Consider that roughly two-thirds of a home’s annual energy use goes toward space and water heating. In most American homes, winter heating is responsible for sending nearly four tons of greenhouse gases into the air each month, and that as much as half of all the energy used in the home is wasted. Efficient home heating is not only cheaper, but is also greener. Compared to traditional wood burning fireplaces, gas fireplaces have a number of advantages. For one thing, they are much easier to operate. Starting a fire in a traditional wood burning fireplace is a process; you have to go out in the cold, collect wood then lug it inside to build the fire. Then once the fire is lit, you have to stoke it and constantly tend to it. A gas fireplace eliminates all of this hassle and streamlines the entire process with a simple flip of a switch.

Geothermal Heating While many parts of the country experience seasonal temperature extremes, from scorching heat in the summer to sub-zero cold in the winter, a few feet below the earth's surface the ground remains at a relatively constant temperature. As with any heat pump, geothermal and water-source heat pumps are able to heat, cool, and, if so equipped, supply the house with hot water. System life is estimated at 25 years for the inside components and 50+ years for the ground loop. Probably the biggest advantages of geothermal heating are low heating costs (cost savings can be as much as 80% over the fossil fuels) and it also uses significantly less electricity than standard heating systems.

Fan Blades and Motor
The blades and motor on commercial refrigeration should also be cleaned once a month. Cleaning must be done carefully to prevent damage to the motor.
